Virtual asset view that contains other asset types

I've created separate asset layouts for physical servers and virtual servers. I would like an asset type or group that could be clicked on from the company's assets that would display assets from both of these asset types. For example a servers assets group could be clicked that would display assets from both physical and virtual servers asset layouts.
