We are seeing to often when 'All Characters' option is checked, that not all characters are being placed into the newly generated password. For example even on a 15 character generated password zero number characters in the password. Hudu password generator needs a password compliance check when generating a new password.
Many generators with password managers and online tools have more granular control and you can set that a minimum of 1 or more of such characters must be within the password.
We have clients that need to meet their SOC2 controls for password generation or another compliance program, their auditors want to see evidence of the controls in place.
This is often to meet obscure and dated password complexity rules for Active Directory or banks, domain registrars, etc. Some legacy systems also through curve balls such as no special character in the first position, or can't support ! ~ ` or &. Those special cases are not worth the time for hudu to have more stringent controls.
