We run Hudu with both the Microsoft 365 and Intune integrations. Intune devices land in Computer Assets and users in People, but nothing connects them. Intune already knows the primary user (userPrincipalName), so the integration has the data.
What we need:
Create a relation between the device and the matching People asset, matched on email/UPN, not display name.
Keep it current: when the primary user changes in Intune, replace the relation and remove the old one.
Expose primary user and serial number as Connected Fields data points. Today only six data points are available, and serial number is only visible on the integration card.
Without this, we’d have to maintain the relations ourselves through the API, and they go stale between script runs.

Even if the assets can't be automatically mapped, let me still get that primary user information to integrate as a field in my asset layout

The Primary User in Intune is currently not synced as expected.
If the customer already has the Microsoft 365 integration active, the Primary User object should be:
Mapped correctly to the corresponding Microsoft 365 user, ensuring the relationship between user and device works both ways (user ↔ device).
