Group Security Asset Layout Access

There should be option in Group Security to allow access to ALL asset layouts. Currently, if we add a new asset layout, we are required to go find all security groups that need that new asset layout. I am trying to understand if this changed in 2.47 with other asset layout security changes.

    As of v2.46, groups no longer have access to all asset layouts by default. Admins can control "default" access via the new multi-select picker. To give the group access to all asset layouts by default, select "All asset layouts" in the dropdown. This means the group will automatically have access to all current and any future layouts.
