Clickable Image Thumbnails with Full-Size Viewer

Currently, images inserted into articles are displayed only at their original or fixed size, which can make articles feel cluttered when large screenshots or photos are required.

I would like the ability to resize images within an article so they appear as smaller thumbnails or previews while reading. Users could then click on the image to open a larger version in an overlay, modal, or lightbox-style viewer.

When documenting a complex application, I may need to include a high resolution screenshot. Rather than displaying the entire image inline and forcing readers to scroll past a large screenshot, I could display a smaller preview. Readers who need to inspect details can simply click the image to view it at full size.
